How to Operate a Rice Mill

Basic operating steps for placing the machine, setting milling time, loading brown rice and collecting the milled sample.

Follow the equipment manual and complete the required safety checks before operating the rice mill.

  1. Place the rice mill securely on a stable workbench and connect the power supply.
  2. Determine the required milling time and set the timer.
  3. Remove the pressure weight from the hopper. Place 17-20 g of brown rice with a recommended moisture content below 15% into the feed hopper. Start the machine before lowering the pressure weight.
  4. When the preset time is reached, the machine stops automatically. Remove the hopper and clear the bran. Install the receiving hopper, remove the pressure weight and turn the front handle to discharge the milled rice. Return the timer to zero, run the grinding wheel empty for several seconds, then remove and sieve the sample.
